ABOUT SARAH
As a parent of a high school senior (and junior), I completely understand how exciting/overwhelming/emotional this time in your life can be! I fell in love with photography shortly after my honeymoon in 2001 when I received my first "nice" camera (it was film…!). After swearing that I never wanted to photograph people, I shot my first senior session for a girl in my youth group and I was hooked. After photographing hundreds of weddings, family session, and babies, I realized that my true love is senior photography.

WHY I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT PRINT PRODUCTS (A LETTER TO MY FELLOW SENIOR PARENTS)
Let me tell you a little story (and maybe you've had something similar happen to you). I recently started gathering photos for my son's graduation party this summer. Like your kiddos, my son was born during the digital age so every milestone has been meticulously captured digitally since his birth. Do you know how many printed photos I could find? Less than a dozen. The worst part? Most of his early years are stored on CD's (we no longer own a computer than can even read a CD!) or on old hard drives of computers that no longer work. Gut wrenching, right? As a photographer, I'm fully aware of how important it is to print images, back things up, etc. but life happens. Every year I swear I am going to print more photos and when the new year rolls around, I realize that once again, I was too busy to get it all done.
If you're anything like me, I'm guessing this has happened to you too. Life is hectic and it only gets more busy as the years go by. Those digital images sit on our computers and never end up printed. Eventually they are lost or corrupted and ultimately gone forever. Many prominent individuals in the photography industry have forecasted that this generation, while the most photographed in history, will have no photographs in 10 years. Imagine having no photos to show your grandchildren of your children. Scary, right?!
This is one of the many reasons that I am so passionate about printing images (with archival ink). Our lab uses the highest quality materials, ensuring that your images will look exactly like they do today up to 200 years from now (or more!). At your Image Premiere, I'll help you select the perfect images and products to commemorate your senior. Once your order is complete, all you will have to do is pick it up (and maybe hang a few piece of wall art, if you choose). You won't have to navigate any confusing ordering software, only to get prints that look NOTHING like images on your screen (fun fact: consumer labs are not calibrated in any way. That means that your images may end up looking yellow, green, pink, etc. just depending on how the lab has their printers set up. Our professional lab is calibrated to our computers so that the prints you receive look exactly like those you see at your Premiere). You won't have to go through the agony of trying to decide what to print and what size (I'll walk you through all of those decisions and offer my expert advice). You'll even get to see exactly what the images will look like in your home before you order, thanks to our state-of-the-art software! You'll get to touch and feel all of our products and know that they are heirloom quality before you order. You'll be able to rest easy and enjoy those last few precious moments with your senior without the nagging feeling that you still need to get those images printed.
